Course Purpose

The Fu Jow Pai Online Training Course is designed to provide students with a true foundation in the system, developing the structure, coordination, and understanding required to properly enter Fu Jow Pai training.

This course focuses on quality over quantity, ensuring that students do not simply learn movements, but begin to understand how the system works.


Course Structure

Phase 1 – Foundational Development

Course Content:

  • Buddha Fist
  • Small Circle Fist
  • Jing Mo

Training Focus:

  • Stance and posture
  • Coordination and balance
  • Basic striking mechanics
  • Body alignment

Objective:
Build a solid base and determine the student’s commitment and attention to detail.


Phase 2 – Introduction to Fu Jow Pai

Course Content:

  • Tiger Claw Set 1 (Dai Yat Lo – refined version)

Training Focus:

  • Tiger claw hand formation
  • Core striking methods
  • Structure and power development
  • Transition between movements

Objective:
Introduce the student to the core identity of Fu Jow Pai and establish the foundation for all future training.


Phase 3 – Integration (Yueng Shen Kuen)

Course Content:

  • Yueng Shen Kuen (Elevating the Spirit Form)

Training Focus:

  • Flow and continuity
  • Coordination of movement and intention
  • Understanding how techniques connect
  • Refinement of structure

Objective:
Help the student connect the system together, using the first Tiger Claw form as a reference point.


How Training Works

1. Learn the Material
Students receive instruction through online training modules, along with optional Zoom sessions for correction and guidance.

2. Practice and Develop
Students train at their own pace while focusing on accuracy, control, and understanding.

3. Submit Video for Evaluation
Students record and submit their training for review.

4. Receive Feedback and Advance
Each submission is evaluated with corrections, guidance, and scoring. A passing score of 75% or higher is required to move forward.


Completion of the Course

Upon completion of all three phases, students will have:

  • A strong foundational base
  • Understanding of core Fu Jow Pai movement
  • Familiarity with Tiger Claw structure and methods
  • Experience connecting techniques through form

Next Step

After completing the online course, students may continue their training through in-person instruction, where the full system is taught, including:

  • Additional Tiger Claw sets
  • Two-person matching sets
  • Weapons training
  • Internal development and conditioning
